Hargreaves Hill Brewing Company is a family owned and operated microbrewery, located in Steels Creek in the Yarra Valley, about 10 minutes from Yarra Glen.

Brewer Simon Walkenhorst, and partner Beth Williams began putting together plans for the brewery in 2002, and September 2004 has seen the release of their first ale, Hargreaves Hill Pale.

A small batch size means that a greater emphasis can be placed on making distinctive tasting, high quality ales produced from premium malt and hops, sourced locally and internationally.

Hargreaves Hill ales are brewed with rainwater, and have no artificial preservatives or additives. At Hargreaves Hill, beer is our passion, and we are constantly refining our recipes and procedures to put the highest quality, most naturally flavorsome fine ale in your hand.
